This a comission for a bud It is supposed to take place in that exact second before the grey jedi's lightsabers are drawn. One is to be purple, the other silver.
Beautiful work! I love the intensity and the fact that the face is hidding in shadows with the mist all around reflecting the blow of the lightsabers as they begin to activate. Really intense and captivating! I look at this and it completely inspires me to sit down and write a story about this person and what is happening in this picture. Also because you arent really sure if this is light or dark side, he kinda looks like he waivers in that middle ground between.Someone you could maybe trust to help you out in a dangerous situation but also someone you would never forget could take you out in a second!
this is fucking amazing. you got the half-activation perfect, and the shadows really accent the light of the sabers. what is he standing on? also, the facial expression is kinda deadpan- was that intentional?
If I were to critique this, I'd say well done, and well drawn. Probably the best I've seen. You can see the initial... I guess you'd call it "fore-glow" clearly, and the character himself is very well shaded and conceived.
